So Loved Pets offers a gentler, cleaner alternative to fire cremation, called aquamation. Our services include a wood urn. Engraving is $25. Fur clipping and ink nose and paw prints are free if requested.

  • 0 – 30 lbs. – $235
  • 31 – 60 lbs. – $265
  • 61 – 90 lbs. – $300
  • 91- 120 lbs. – $345
  • 121- 150lbs – $400
  • 151 + lbs. – $465

Pickup and delivery are offered between 10am and 4pm, dependent on staff availability.

Pickup: $100 for pets 0–50 lbs, $155 for pets 50 lbs+.

Delivery: $75

These fees apply to pickup and delivery addresses within 15 miles of Durham, Chapel Hill, and Hillsborough. For each mile exceeding radius – $2.25 per mile

Can you arrange transport for my pet to your cremation facility?

So Loved Pets by Endswell can arrange transportation from your veterinarian, animal hospital, or your own home. We can also meet you at So Loved Pets to take your pet into our care. So Loved Pets serves Wake, Orange, Durham, Chatham, Alamance, and Guilford Counties.

Transportation within 30 miles of So Loved pets is $50 during regular business hours and $75 after hours. Please contact us for details about pricing for larger pets. We can also deliver the urn for a $30 fee.

How do I know the ashes I receive are my pet’s?

At So Loved Pets, we understand the importance of ensuring that the ashes returned to you are indeed those of your beloved pet.

Many pet cremation facilities offer group or communal cremation, where the ashes are all mixed together. However, So Loved Pets offers individual cremation. Each pet is protected in their own compartment during the process.

This ensures that the urn you receive will only contain the remains of your pet, providing you with peace of mind.

What happens to my pet’s remains after cremation at So Loved Pets?

After the cremation process, the remains are left as bone ash, similar to traditional cremation. These remains are then dried, processed into a fine powder, and returned to the owner in an urn or another chosen container.

What are the different types of pet cremation services available?

So Loved Pets offers a process known as water cremation, which is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cremation. This gentle water-based process accelerates natural decomposition without flames, resulting in fewer emissions and less energy consumption.

How long does pet cremation take?

At So Loved Pets, we use a modern cremation process that uses a gentle water flow, warmth, and alkalinity to break down the body naturally.

Water cremation can vary in duration depending on several factors, including the size of the pet and the operating temperature of the equipment. Typically, the process can take anywhere from twelve to fifteen hours to complete.
