Honoring Your Beloved Companion with Dignity and Care
At So Loved Pets by Endswell, we understand that the loss of a pet is a profound experience. Choosing how to honor their memory is an important decision. Our pet cremation services provide a dignified and respectful way to cherish their memory in a way that is simple, meaningful, and environmentally-friendly.
Why Choose Pet Cremation?
Cremation offers several advantages:
Flexibility
Pet Cremation allows you to choose how and where you want to remember your pet. Whether it’s keeping their ashes in a beautifully crafted urn at home, scattering them in a favorite spot, or incorporating them into a piece of commemorative jewelry, the options are broad and personal.
Simplicity
Many pet cremation facilities offer group or communal cremation, where the ashes are all mixed together. At So Loved Pets, we offer individual cremation where pets are protected in their own compartment during the process. This ensures that the urn you receive will only contain the remains of your pet.
Eco-Friendly
At So Loved Pets, we use modern cremation, a process that is gentle on the environment compared to traditional cremation methods. This process uses no flames and emits no pollutants, making it a responsible choice for pet owners who care about the planet.

Is modern cremation more safe for the environment than traditional cremation?
Yes, water cremation is considered safer for the environment than fire. The process emits no airborne pollutants and uses less energy than traditional cremation methods.
The byproducts are non-toxic and can be safely disposed of, with the water-soluble byproducts typically returned to the ecosystem through wastewater treatment facilities.
What happens to the my pets remains after cremation?
After aquamation, the remains consist of bone ash, which is similar to what is left after traditional cremation. These remains are dried, processed into a fine powder, and returned to the owner in an urn or another chosen container. You may pick these up at So Loved Pets or we are happy to deliver the urn to your doorstep for a fee of $30.
Many pet cremation facilities offer group or communal cremation, where the ashes are all mixed together. At So Loved Pets, we offer individual cremation where pets are protected in their own compartment during the process. This ensures that the urn you receive will only contain the remains of your pet.
How long does pet cremation take?
At So Loved Pets, we use a cremation process called aquamation. Aquamation uses a gentle water flow, warmth, and alkalinity to break down the body naturally.
Aquamation can vary in duration depending on several factors, including the size of the pet and the operating temperature of the aquamation equipment. Typically, the process can take anywhere from twelve to fifteen hours to complete.
