It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roofus, our cherished gray and white cat, who left us peacefully on the morning of April 28, 2024, at the age of 14.

Roofus came into our lives as a spirited kitten and quickly became a beloved member of our family. Known for his striking gray and white coat and mesmerizing green eyes, he possessed a regal demeanor mixed with a playful spirit that brought joy to everyone he met.

Throughout his life, Roofus was more than just a pet; he was a companion, a comforter, and a friend. His favorite pastimes included basking in the afternoon sunlight, watching birds from the window, and curling up on laps during chilly evenings—always ready to offer a gentle purr and a nudge of his head in exchange for a scratch behind his ears.

Roofus will be remembered for his quirky antics, from his playful attacks on unsuspecting shoelaces to his dignified strut as he paraded around his home. His gentle purrs and affectionate presence were a constant source of comfort and happiness in our household.

He leaves behind his human family, who cherished every moment spent with him, and his feline sister, Bella, who was both his playmate and partner in crime. Roofus’s memory will forever be held in our hearts as a reminder of the unconditional love and joy that a pet can bring into our lives.
